Swissmed, the listed
healthcare group, announced that it has received an EU investment grant of just under PLN 0.8m (€0.2m) from the government of the Pomorskie voivodship. At the same time, Swissmed said that another EU grant for the modernisation of its radiology facilities, announced in June, has been cancelled.
Meanwhile, on 9 July it emerged that Prokom Investments, the investment vehicle of billionaire investor Ryszard Krauze, raised its stake Swissmed above 5%, to 5.24%, sending its shares up by 14% on the Warsaw bourse.
