Treasury sells state-owned distributor of lab equipment

The Ministry of the Treasury has privatised Merazet, a large Poznan-based importer and distributor of measuring and laboratory equipment for various sectors, including the pharma industry. The buyer is Forcom, a Polish provider of IT solutions for retail networks. It paid PLN 15.4m (€3.8m) for the 85% of shares in Merazet put up for sale by the state.
Merazet supplies a wide range of laboratory equipment, including various analysers, microscopes, thermometers, sterilisers, etc. The current product portfolio consists of nearly 40 broad categories of lab equipment.
