Lublin Oncology Centre to purchase PLN 20m new radiology equipment

The Lublin Oncology Centre (COZL) is to purchase modern radiotherapy equipment worth more than PLN 21m (€5.3m), Gazeta Wyborcza reported. Of this, approximately PLN 18m (€4.5m) will be provided from the National Programme for Cancer Prevention. The additional PLN 3m (€0.7m) will come from local authorities. The equipment, to be employed in St. John of Dukla’s hospital, will include a new radiotherapy accelerator, brachytherapy equipment and a magnetic resonance.
