EMC Instytut Medyczny has started the expansion of its St. Anna's Hospital in Piaseczno. The modular construction works are executed by the German companyCadolto. The value of the project is PLN 16.9m (€4.2m).
The new building will house several new wards: paediatrics, orthopaedics, and gynaecology & obstetrics, roughly doubling the number of beds to 80-100 from the current 47.
EMC acquired the hospital in 2008 from local authorities under a 25-year lease. It has already carried out modernisation works in the hospital’s existing buildings.
