Linet, the prominent producer of hospital beds from the Czech Republic, sold 600 hospital beds worth CZK 22m (€0.89m) to Azerbaijan’s national oil company Socar, as reported by Linet on their website. The hospital beds are to be used in several health facilities operated by the oil company in Azerbaijan.
Linet has also supplied beds to other countries in the region of former Soviet Union, which is very attractive as a result of improving economic situation – earlier this summer it sold products worth CZK 15m (€0.6m) to Turkmenistan and further 200 electrical beds to the BSNI Emergency Hospital in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Since the countries in this region currently undergo economic transformation, accompanied with solid economic growth and improving healthcare, Linet expect to succeed in other similar deals in the near future.
