The Treasury Ministry is about to launch the privatisation of sanatorium medicine provider, Uzdrowisko Rabka (Malopolskie voivodship), local daily Dziennik Polski has learnt.
According to the company’s CEO Andrzej Kowalczyk, the ministry is currently looking for an external adviser to carry out a valuation of Uzdrowisko Rabka. Last year its value was estimated at PLN 35-40m (€8.9-10.2m), but the company is in the middle of an investment programme and is about to open a new sanatorium complex, Rabczanski Zdroj, which is expected to increase its value.
The sale is to be completed before the end of the year.
Uzdrowisko Rabka focuses on the treatment and rehabilitation of conditions of the respiratory tract, heart disease, locomotor disorders, diabetes and obesity. It consists of eight hospital and sanatorium units with a total of 700 beds.
